its not often i get that sinking feeling of missing out on that thing i really Really want to do. But to day something like that just happened.
Now i'm one of those people that i believe that if you really want something to happen you have to go a head and do it your self, and that's great but it only goes so far.

Now my work is cool and i love my work mates and I'm not angry with them at all because i completely understand the situation so if it sounds like i am its just cos I'm REALLY disappointed.

At my work we have the boss and 3 workers leaves us a little short staffed if any one wants holidays so i get 1 week a year (i am entitled to more but i feel bad)this week is usually Armageddon week either wellington or of late Auckland.

now one of the ladies that works with us Had a fall (holding a very large plant) and broke her shoulder and was out for 3 months now a year later she's been told she can finally have the operation to fix the damage and get a lot of the moment in her arm back, which is great but she'll be off for 6 weeks no movement no nada.

the op is booked for october about 3 weeks before Armageddon.

I dont know if i can make it. if my days don't change i can make Sunday Monday but going up sat night and coming back Sunday night. making it more like a working trip than a holiday.
if they change my days I'm well up shits creek so to speak.

I actually wanted to cry, I cant change the date of the operation because thats unfair and its being don't by Acc so they aren't flexible. I actually cant think my way out of this one.
I'm told i should through a sicky but I'd feel bad.

I don't know what to do.
